Doug Badia is the managing principal at Pure Properties Group, LLC. He has over 30 years experience and is highly skilled in all facets of real estate including: corporate operations, complex asset transactions, investor and client relations, acquisition, development, leasing, property management, marketing, sales, finance, and dispositions.
He has a successful track record with land development and redevelopment opportunities as well as a historical ability of increasing profits and market shares, improving partner-investor relations and establishing national brand recognition by building high performance teams focused on exceeding the expectations of partners, investors, customers and employees.
Throughout his career, he has leased over 20 million square feet of various real estate assets and within the last few years, Doug has sold a wide variety of properties throughout the United States. These transactions were in excess of $1 billion.
Before founding Pure Properties Group in early 2014, Doug was the Executive Vice President at O&S Holdings LLC, in San Jose, California responsible for the day to day business operations of O&S Holdings portfolio which included over 80 assets and businesses throughout the United States. He effectively integrated the asset management, leasing, development, sales and marketing, legal, and finance departments.
Before joining O&S in 2005, Doug was the West Coast Director of Property Management for Federal Realty Investment Trust. He oversaw assets including:

In addition to the dynamic retail and restaurant collection, Santana Row offers 622 residential units and 65,000 square feet of office space. From the development stage through the first several years of operation, Doug effectively managed this unique asset to stabilization, achieving measurable and sustainable results in all areas.
Doug has also held management positions with General Growth Properties and the Wilder Companies in Tampa, FL where he gained the experience and expertise necessary to become a well-respected leader in the real-estate industry.
Monica is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in real estate management and leasing. With a deep and strong knowledge in both commercial and residential real estate transactions, Monica is responsible for client relations; commercial leasing processes and support; marketing and information research and management; planning and strategies; and complex reporting.
Prior to joining Pure Properties, she assisted the Executive Vice President at O&S Holdings in the overall company productivity and its real estate operations comprising a portfolio of over 3 million square feet across the United States, including super regional shopping centers, power centers, stand-alone, multi-tenant and single tenant retail buildings, office and hotel. Previous to this, Monica held various positions as Assistant Property Manager, Account Manager, and Sales & Marketing Manager for large corporations in Southeast Asia.
Monica is a graduate of the University of San Carlos in Cebu City, Philippines with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Shawna Ellis has more than 20 years of financial and accounting experience in commercial, residential, office and hotel real estate. Shawna began her career in real estate as a Construction & Development Regional Controller with Trammell Crow Residential, managing the accounting of the West Coast and Mid-Atlantic regions for 181 entities.
In 2007, Shawna joined O&S Holdings, LLC as the Corporate Controller, managing the finance, accounting, risk management, human resources and legal departments. O&S Holdings, a mid-size real estate developer, had approximately $1 billion in assets, including 1.5 million square feet of retail space, a 210 room four star Westin hotel, 74 luxury condos and 250,000 square feet of office. </br> </br> Shawna holds a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and is a licensed real estate agent in Florida.
